Meet noosha
Noosha is a mother, she has two sons and a daughter. She wears many hats, with one of her favourite hats being ‘Aunty Shoosha’ to her nieces and nephews. She is of an Iranian background and arrived in Australia in 1996 as a refugee. She loves cooking and feeding people - having a post-dinner yarn at the dining table is one of her favourite moments. She adores coffee and loves a dark roast, which you’ll often find accompanying her in session. She also loves a storm and chasing waterfalls. When she isn’t in the chair, or consulting - she is forest bathing, camping or road tripping with her tribe. She is a visual person, and often shares her thoughts via scribbles in therapy. She isn’t very tech savvy and prefers pen and paper.Noosha was motivated to become a Psychologist as she learned early in life that human suffering is unique, on a continuum, and doesn’t discriminate. As such, she discovered happiness too must be ongoing, and therefore must be harnessed through psychotherapy. She named her business Psychfirst, a play on words emphasising the need for our psychology to be prioritised.
Noosha currently practices via TeleHealth only. . She is in search of a space that is just right, as she prefers face-to-face, however is finding difficulty in finding a new space for her clinic to call home. As such, she is only available via Zoom, until further notice.
